St. Louis Anheuser-Busch Company History.

Anheuser-Busch was established in the 1850s, and the deal was sealed with a wedding. Adolphus Busch, a German immigrant to St. Louis, met Eberhard Anheuser, who had recently bought a not so successful brewery. Busch married Anheuser's daughter Lilly, and with his father-in-law, partnered to turn the brewery into a profitable venture. The company created a lager in 1876 using methods that took a lot of time and used fine ingredients. They called it Budweiser.

St. Louis Anheuser-Busch Visitor Tour.

The St. Louis tour of Anheuser-Busch includes the Beechwood Lager Cellars, the Brew House, the packing facility, and the Budweiser Clydesdale Stable. Clydesdales are a type of noble-looking draft horse that have become a mascot for the "King of Beers." For those 21 years old and over, the Hospitality Room offers product samples, some seasonal and some brand new, at the conclusion of the tour.

The tour includes visits to the Primary Fermentation Cellar, the Lager Cellar, the Finishing Cellar, and the Clydesdale Stables Tack Room. a Finish Tank.

For true beer connoisseurs, beer school is an agreeable half-hour spent learning all there is to know about food pairing, pouring techniques, and more. In addition, "students" will learn about the process of brewing beer, different types of beer, and what ingredients go into this emblematic every-man libation. You must be 21 years old or older and the cost is only $10.00.
